The live tissue below the epidermis, the dermis, is made up from cells and the cells are a variety of different functions, including hair follicles, sweat glands and various connective tissues.  These issues are made from predominantly collagen and elastin.  Collagen is a fixed tissue that doesn’t stretch, whereas elastin has movement and spring in this.  However collagen is extremely strong and is good to hold everything in place as it should be a, while elastin allows for movement to a certain degree.

Manipulation of the dermal layer can help disguise the cellulite beneath it.  It is not always the case where you must be overweight or have large deposits of fat to have announced cellulite.  Even women that worked out constantly can have certain types of cellulite.  If you are overweight, with large debt reserves then the chances of you having a more pronounced and visible cellulite are greater.  What can the most annoying is that certain women take care of their diet, and also take plenty of fat burning exercise, yet still find that they have cellulite.  It is easier however if you have muscular definition, especially in the thighs, to remove the last portion of fat, or at least blend them to a flatter look.

Cellulite is seen more often as women pass a certain age, and this is mostly because the skin becomes loose in the late twenties, and as with all of aging processes, the loss of collagen and elastin causes the skin to lose elasticity.  Adipose tissue is the tissue in many forms around the body that stores fat, in various ways, and in various types.  This is the tissue that holds the facts below the dermis, in deposits known as adipocytes, which contain small lumps of fat.  These lipid containers, are the body’s energy reserves, as well as insulation, and for regulation of particular hormones such as the leptin and resistin etc..  As you may imagine that adipose cells also contain blood vessels as well as collagen for structure.  skin layers photo

It is these adipose cells, and the adipocytes they contain, that are burst,  and sucked out when liposuction is employed.  Although liposuction is not generally considered to be an effective treatment for cellulite removal, it is frequently used as such because of this reason and for the reason that the following massaging techniques will reduce if not remove completely the cellulite that is visible on the skin address.  It is definitely not any use for cellulite is visible only when tautening the skin.
