What is cellulite

Cellulite is the physical effect that people referred to as dimpling of the skin in certain areas, fatty area’s that is unsightly. It is identified as a cottage cheese effect to the skin. Though not fully understood why this is caused it commonly affects more women than men. It has been linked to estrogen and androgen production, and therefore it is very uncommon in men.

There is a definite correlation between hormones and cellulite but there is no definite proof of findings and no study has been carried out that can produce a proper understanding of the number of causes. A definite cure requires a definite conclusion as to what causes the skin to behave in this manner.
